Extracurriculars

Piano

Resurrection Lutheran School offers students in 2nd - 8th grade the opportunity of weekly piano lessons each Tuesday and Thursday. Advanced piano students have opportunities to play during chapel. The year will culminate with a Spring Piano Recital.

Soccer

All boys and girls in 4th - 8th grade have the opportunity to play soccer in the fall. Practices and games take place after school on various days of the week.

Basketball

All boys and girls in 4th - 8th grade have the opportunity to participate in basketball. Practices and regular-season games are held throughout the week in the months of December, January, and February. The season ends at the Luther Prep basketball tournament in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Track & Field

All boys and girls in 4th – 8th grade participate in track. The track season takes place during the middle of March and ends the beginning of May. Practices are conducted during recess and Physical Education classes.

Academic Bowl

Our 4th – 8th grade students have the opportunity to participate SpBAM (Spelling, Bible, Art & Math) competition in April of each school year. Students who compete in the math competition take individual tests and also participate in the team competition.

Forensics

4th – 8th grade students are required to participate in forensics at Resurrection. This is a great opportunity for our students to work on their public speaking skills. Each student performs his/her piece at our forensics night. Compete individually or as a team with fellow students.
